Solutions Architect Jobs in Dallas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a solutions architect job in Dallas?
Focus your search on Dallas's strongest hiring sectors: enterprise software, financial services, telecom, and healthcare IT. The Telecom Corridor in Richardson and Las Colinas are dense with technology employers, while Uptown and downtown Dallas house large financial and consulting firms. Candidates who combine cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with demonstrated pre-sales or client-facing experience stand out most in this market.
Which companies hire solutions architects in Dallas?
Employers hiring solutions architects in Dallas right now include Amazon Web Services, Amazon, and Gruve Tech, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Dallas attracts a wide mix of large enterprise technology companies, regional banks and insurers, healthcare systems, and consulting firms, many of which maintain significant technical sales and architecture teams in the area.
Are there remote solutions architect jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though availability varies: solutions architect roles with heavy client engagement or on-site infrastructure work tend to require in-person presence, while cloud architecture and pre-sales roles are more frequently offered remotely. About 56% of solutions architect openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the sector's mix. Cloud and SaaS employers in the Telecom Corridor and Las Colinas account for much of the hybrid flexibility.
How can I get a solutions architect job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Dallas is moving laterally from a systems engineer, cloud support, or technical consultant role at one of the area's many managed service providers or regional technology firms. Dallas has a strong mid-market IT services sector that regularly promotes technical staff into architecture roles. Earning a cloud certification and building a portfolio of small-scale architecture designs helps bridge the gap with larger enterprise employers in Las Colinas or the Telecom Corridor.
Which industries hire the most solutions architects in Dallas?
Dallas solutions architect roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Distribution & Wholesale, and Science & Research, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Dallas's position as a hub for telecom infrastructure, regional banking headquarters, and one of the largest healthcare corridors in the South drives sustained demand for solutions architects who can translate complex technical requirements into scalable enterprise systems.
