Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in cybersecurity for the generation fleet. Drive program improvements, lead incident investigations, and ensure alignment with enterprise security strategies and regulatory obligations. Key Accountabilities
- Lead complex initiatives, such as segmented architecture deployments or vulnerability remediation campaigns.
- Develop fleet-wide technical standards and guidance.
- Provide advanced technical oversight during compliance audits and inspections.
- Lead root cause analysis of cybersecurity events and implement lessons learned.
- Develop and refine dashboards and metrics for executive and operational reporting.
- Represent cybersecurity on capital projects and plant upgrades.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- 5–8 years in industrial or infrastructure cybersecurity roles.
- Deep understanding of NERC CIP, ICS/OT security, and control systems engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of computer networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, firewalls, and segmentation. Experience with industrial or air-gapped networks is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, particularly using PowerShell, JavaScript and/or Python, to automate routine tasks, enforce security controls, and validate compliance is desire
- Experienced gained through college degree programs and/or certification in business or technology related field, or equivalent experience.
