Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our Cloud, DevOps, and Operations organization. This role is responsible for designing, building, automating, and supporting modern cloud-based infrastructure and applications that power critical business services.
The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, CI/CD practices, and platform operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence while driving automation-first solutions across the technology stack.
Candidates should possess strong development experience, hands-on cloud expertise, and a passion for building resilient, highly automated environments.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions, cloud infrastructure, and automation capabilities that support business and technology objectives.
- Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and improve deployment reliability.
- Support enterprise platforms and applications through advanced Level 3 production support and incident resolution.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform health and operational stability.
- Partner with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and platform resiliency initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve engineering capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience working within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed applications and services.
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps-focused delivery organizations.
- Demonstrated experience across the software development lifecycle, from design through production support.
- Full-stack development experience is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in two or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with source control platforms including GitHub and/or GitLab.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tooling.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
- Experience using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating environments.
- Experience working with Jira or other Agile project management and issue-tracking platforms.

- Financial services industry experience is a plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$160,000 - $180,000
