About Savvy Wealth
Wealth management is a $545 billion industry in the US, yet remains archaic and inefficient with low technology penetration. 75% of financial advisors don’t offer digital communication beyond email, and 62% still build financial plans manually in Excel. This leads to a poor client experience and results in financial advisors spending over 70% of their time on non-client facing, manual work. Savvy is changing that. We’re building the most advisor-centric platform in wealth management: a digital-first solution that modernizes human financial advice. Advisors who partner with Savvy tap into AI-powered software, automated sales and marketing, and seamless back office workflows to scale faster and spend more time with clients. We’ve raised over $105M to date from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Mark Casady (former LPL Financial CEO), and other top-tier investors. Our team is made up of repeat founders and operators who’ve helped build Airbnb, Square, Brex, Carta, Facebook, $200B+ RIAs, and more. Savvy is at a pivotal point in its growth trajectory, having established strong product-market fit in providing a modern platform to financial advisors. We’ve surpassed $5.1 billion in AUM in less than three years, grown 600%+ in the last 18 months, and are entering the next phase of the company which involves rapid expansion of our product offering and continued revenue growth. Come help us scale!
The Role
We're building one of the first fully agentic advisory platforms in wealth management and we need a PM who can lead it. This isn't a traditional product role. You won't be handed a backlog or a discovery framework. You'll be dropped into a fast-moving, ambiguous problem space and expected to make sharp calls on what to build, why, and when. You'll own the development of Savvy's advisor facing AI features including core workflows that lets Savvy advisors do more with less — and you'll set the direction for what it becomes.
Responsibilities
- Product strategy for the agentic workbench: Working closely with Savvy leadership to shape where it goes, what gets built next, and why. You're not executing a roadmap someone else designed; you're making the map.
- Translating AI capability into advisor workflow: advisors will tell you what they want. Your job is to figure out what they actually need. Those are rarely the same thing in agentic product development.
- Staying ahead of the model: LLM and AI capabilities change fast. You'll track what's possible, pressure-test it against real advisor workflows, and pull forward opportunities before competitors see them.
- Cross-functional execution: close partnership with engineering, design and our internal teams to ship high-quality product fast. You unblock, you decide, you drive.
- Instrumentation and learning: define the right success metrics for agentic features, evaluate what's working, and adjust quickly.
Who You Are:
- You think in first principles, not frameworks. When you're in a leadership meeting or a design review, you're the person who says "wait, why are we doing it this way at all?" and actually has an answer.
- You're plugged into the AI ecosystem, not just following it, but synthesizing it. You know what's shipping from Anthropic, OpenAI, and the open-source community, and you have opinions on what matters for your use case.
- You're comfortable getting technical. You don't need to write production code, but you can read it, you understand how LLMs and agents work under the hood, and you can have a real conversation with engineers about tradeoffs, not just requirements.
- You move fast without losing judgment. You can hold the long-term vision and the current sprint at the same time.
- You aspire to build something whether it's a product, a company, a category. This role is a forcing function for that.
Must have:
- 4+ years of product management experience, with at least some time at a high-growth tech startup
- Shipped AI-powered products (not just "used AI in your workflow", actually owned the roadmap for an AI feature or product)
- Strong technical depth: enough to reason about LLMs, agents, evals, and latency tradeoffs with credibility
- Proven ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments with limited guidance
- Track record of making sharp prioritization calls under pressure
Nice To Have
- Experience in fintech, wealth management, or financial services
- Previous founder experience or serious founder ambitions
- BS/MS in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
Benefits
- Competitive salary and equity package
- Unlimited PTO + paid company holidays
- Access to holistic medical, dental, and vision plans
- Company 401(k), Commuter, and HSA/FSA plans
- NYC office in the heart of Manhattan
- Lunch and snacks provided in the office
- Access to virtual mental health care (Spring Health), vision related benefits (XP Health), and health concierge (Rightway) to help you find the right care
- Access to counseling for stress management, dependent care, nutrition, fitness, legal, and financial issues (Guardian WorkLifeMatters EAP)
Compensation Range: $181K - $221K

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding STEM OPT Authorization as a Senior AI Product Designer
Verify your CIP code covers this role
Check that your degree's Classification of Instructional Programs code maps to a STEM-designated field recognized by ICE. Human-computer interaction, computer science, and information systems codes commonly support AI Product Designer positions, but your DSO confirms the exact match.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting offers
Ask hiring managers directly whether the company is enrolled in E-Verify before you move past the offer stage. An employer that isn't enrolled cannot legally employ you on STEM OPT, no matter how eager they are to hire.
Build a portfolio that connects AI to measurable outcomes
Senior AI Product Designer roles require demonstrating that you've shipped AI-powered features, not just designed them. Document model integration decisions, user research on AI interactions, and measurable impact to stand out in technical screening rounds.
Use Migrate Mate to filter for STEM OPT employers
Search Migrate Mate for Senior AI Product Designer roles filtered to E-Verify-enrolled employers. This removes companies that can't support your authorization before you invest time in their interview process.
Negotiate your I-983 training plan scope early
The I-983 requires a formal learning objective tied to your STEM degree. In AI Product Designer roles, frame your plan around applied machine learning product development so the connection to your degree is explicit and survives a USCIS audit.
Time your extension filing against your OPT end date
USCIS recommends filing your STEM OPT extension application at least 90 days before your initial OPT expires. For Senior AI Designer searches that run long, a late filing puts your authorization at risk during active offer negotiations.

Find Senior AI Product Designer JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does a Senior AI Product Designer role qualify for the STEM OPT extension?
It can, but the qualifying factor is your degree, not the job title. Your degree must carry a STEM-designated CIP code, and the role must provide practical training directly related to that field. AI Product Designer positions grounded in computer science, HCI, or information systems commonly satisfy this connection, but your DSO makes the final determination based on your specific degree and I-983 training plan.
What goes into the I-983 training plan for an AI Product Designer position?
Your I-983 must describe specific learning goals tied to your STEM degree, the supervision structure, and how the work advances your field of study. For AI Product Designer roles, this typically means documenting responsibilities like designing AI interaction models, conducting user research on machine learning outputs, and collaborating with engineering on model integration. Both you and your employer sign the form, and your DSO must authorize it before the extension begins.
How do I confirm that a company is enrolled in E-Verify before applying?
You can search the E-Verify employer search tool directly through the E-Verify program's public database. Searching by company name shows current enrollment status. For companies not appearing there, ask the recruiter or HR contact directly during early conversations. Companies that can't confirm enrollment aren't able to support your STEM OPT training legally, so verifying this before you invest interview time protects your job search timeline.
Does cap-gap protection apply if I'm on STEM OPT and selected in the H-1B lottery?
Yes. If you're on STEM OPT when your employer files an H-1B petition on your behalf and you're selected in the lottery, cap-gap extends your OPT work authorization automatically through September 30 of that year. Your EAD remains valid during this period without any additional filing on your part, as long as your H-1B petition was timely filed and your OPT was still valid at the time of filing.
Where can I find Senior AI Product Designer jobs with employers that support STEM OPT?
Migrate Mate lists Senior AI Product Designer roles filtered to companies enrolled in E-Verify, which is the baseline requirement for any STEM OPT employer. Searching there lets you skip companies that can't legally support your authorization and focus on employers already set up to hire STEM OPT students, which matters especially in competitive AI design roles where interview cycles run long.
