Strategy Intern Jobs in Oklahoma: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy intern in Oklahoma?
Strategy intern roles in Oklahoma do not require a state-issued license or certification. Most positions are open to students enrolled in or recently graduated from business, economics, finance, or related programs at Oklahoma universities such as the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, or the University of Tulsa. Employers in Oklahoma's energy and healthcare sectors typically prefer candidates with coursework in financial modeling, strategic planning, or data analysis alongside at least one prior internship or relevant project experience.
Which companies hire strategy interns in Oklahoma?
Employers hiring strategy interns in Oklahoma right now include CVS Health, Love’s Travel Stops, and Tinker Business and Industrial Park, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Oklahoma's energy sector anchors much of this demand, but healthcare systems and financial services firms across Oklahoma City and Tulsa also post strategy intern openings on a recurring basis.
Which Oklahoma cities have the most strategy intern jobs?
Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Oklahoma account for the largest share of strategy intern openings in Oklahoma. Oklahoma City leads because it serves as the headquarters base for major energy companies, healthcare networks, and financial institutions, while Tulsa's concentration of energy midstream firms and corporate offices generates consistent demand, and smaller markets in the list reflect satellite offices or regional operations tied to those same anchor employers.
Are there remote strategy intern jobs in Oklahoma?
Yes, and more than many fields, since strategy intern work is largely desk-based and analytical. About 50% of strategy intern openings tied to Oklahoma are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting a broader shift among corporate employers toward flexible arrangements for intern-level analytical roles. Research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling tasks are the parts of the role most commonly performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a strategy intern in Oklahoma with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying through formal summer internship programs at Oklahoma's large energy and healthcare employers, which recruit directly from in-state universities and do not require prior professional experience. Devon Energy, ONEOK, and Integris Health all run structured internship cohorts aimed at undergraduate and graduate students early in their programs. A strong academic record in business or quantitative coursework, a case competition result, or a well-documented class project in strategy or financial analysis can substitute for work history and give an application a concrete edge.
Where can I find and apply to strategy intern jobs in Oklahoma?
You can find and apply to strategy intern jobs in Oklahoma on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the available roles, identify the ones that fit your background and availability, and apply directly through each listing.
