Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a Junior Recruiter in the OKC area. This is a vital and rewarding position that will play a key role in sharing our lifesaving mission. Oklahoma Blood Institute is part of one of the fastest-growing independent blood centers in the U.S.
The successful Recruiter primarily provides back-end support for recruitment staff, including support with calendar management, CRM and HemaSphere, prospecting, and fielding new drive requests. Additionally, the role will support outward facing duties as needed, such as tabling, presentations, and territory coverage.
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Days: Monday through Friday; some weekends
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; some evenings
Salary Range: Competitive salary plus monthly commission plan, and excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, long term disability, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement and holiday pay; $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required (Associates/Bachelor's Preferred)
- 0-2 Years of Sales Experience
- Ability to work as a team
- Professional appearance and manner to engage with community leaders
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Required to submit MVR with zero points and no moving/traffic violations in the last three years
Primary Responsibilities:
- As needed, analyzes donor group history and data to strategically support Account Consultants (AC) to grow donor bases.
- Strategically analyzes lapsed donor group reports to identify opportunities for future drives.
- Supports ACs through recommendations of feeder groups to route to local drives.
- When directed by leadership, collaborates with assigned ACs to ensure drives are properly scheduled, booking milestones are met, and monthly goals are achieved.
- Problem solves with ACs when a group does not have enough sign-ups to ensure drive success.
- Helps to maintain accurate and current account information, including contact details, in CRM or HemaSphere.
- When AC is unavailable, Jr. Recruiter acts as liaison with the scheduling team and blood drive supervisors to communicate necessary blood drive changes for maximum productivity.
- Alongside the AC, attends conferences, community/chamber events, and presentations as needed.
- Serves as backup for team members out in the field when necessary.
- Assists with on-site donor recruitment efforts, such as tabling events, presentations, and on-site recruitment.
- Adheres to department guidelines, rules, regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
