The Central Business District and the Blue Ash corridor are where most openings concentrate. Candidates who stand out locally combine cross-functional project experience with familiarity with Cincinnati's industry mix, whether through an MBA from a local university, a rotation at a regional company, or internal consulting experience at a Fortune 500 with a Cincinnati presence.
Which companies hire strategy managers in Cincinnati?
Companies currently hiring strategy managers in Cincinnati include Deloitte, FIS, and PwC, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Cincinnati's employer base skews toward large consumer brands, integrated health systems, and regional financial institutions, all of which maintain in-house strategy functions that hire on a recurring basis.
Are there remote strategy manager jobs in Cincinnati?
Yes, though strategy manager roles are moderately remote-friendly since much of the work involves stakeholder collaboration and executive-facing deliverables that often require in-person presence. About 17% of strategy manager openings tied to Cincinnati are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with hybrid arrangements most common at larger corporate employers in the Blue Ash and downtown markets. Analytical and planning-focused workstreams tend to be most amenable to remote work within these roles.
How can I get a strategy manager job in Cincinnati with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Cincinnati is through a rotational or analyst role at one of the city's major consumer goods or health system employers, where strategy exposure is built over two to three years before a manager-level move. Entry roles like business analyst, financial analyst, or operations associate at Cincinnati-area corporations or health networks routinely feed into strategy teams. A local MBA, particularly from the University of Cincinnati or Xavier, also provides direct recruiting pipelines into Cincinnati's corporate strategy functions.
