POSITION SUMMARY
- The Pricing Automation & AI Enablement Manager is responsible for transforming the Deviation of Policy (DOP) pricing process through automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven decision support. This role focuses on implementing enhanced automation and AI, reducing cycle time, improving pricing consistency, generating pricing insights and ensuring SOX compliance by embedding intelligent workflows within pricing related systems. This individual partners with Pricing, Sales, Finance, IT, and Business Units to streamline manual processes, enhance data accuracy, and deliver scalable pricing solutions that drive win rates, margin expansion, and faster deal execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Streamline the overall DOP process, reducing manual touchpoints and approval cycle time
- Design rule-based and AI-assisted approval routing based on deal characteristics (margin thresholds, deal size, region, risk level).
- Develop predictive models to recommend optimal pricing, discount ranges, and deal strategies
- Implement AI tools to identify pricing anomalies, margin leakage risks, and deal outliers.
- Deliver real-time decision support to Pricing and Business Units through dashboards and pricing analytics
- Integrate financial data (cost, margin, volume) from multiple source systems into a unified pricing engine
- Build self-service tools for analysts to evaluate deal economics instantly
- Embed automated controls within the pricing workflow to ensure SOX compliance (approval tracking, audit trails, version control)
- Partner with Internal Audit and Finance to continuously improve compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with IT to enhance source system capabilities and system integration
- Align with Finance to ensure accurate cost and margin reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a preferred focus in Business, Finance, Math, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- 5 years of experience in Analytics, Pricing, Finance, or related field.
- Strong technical aptitude with experience integrating systems, managing data workflows, and leveraging AI-driven insights to support business transformation initiatives
- Experience designing and implementing AI, automation, and digital workflow solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes
- Proficiency with automation platforms, data analytics tools, and emerging AI technologies to optimize business performance and decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions
- Advanced technical skills and experience in tools such as Python, RStudio, SQL, and enterprise systems, with the ability to develop [MW1] [MW2] scalable analytics and automation solutions
- Proficient with the Office 365 platform; strong Excel proficiency preferred.
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work onsite full time from our offices in Westerville, Ohio.
