Pricing Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a pricing manager in Georgia?
Pricing manager roles in Georgia do not require a state-issued license or certification. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, along with progressive experience in pricing analysis or revenue management. Candidates who earn the Certified Pricing Professional designation from the Professional Pricing Society, which is headquartered in Atlanta, stand out in the Georgia market and are often preferred for senior roles.
Which companies hire pricing managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring pricing managers in Georgia right now include BlueLinx, EY, and AFS, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of retail headquarters, logistics firms, and financial services companies means demand for pricing professionals is consistent throughout the year rather than seasonal.
Which Georgia cities have the most pricing manager jobs?
Atlanta, Georgia, and Marietta have the most pricing manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the majority of demand as the state's corporate headquarters hub, home to major retailers, logistics companies, and financial institutions with dedicated pricing functions, while Savannah's growth as a port and distribution center and Augusta's expanding healthcare and manufacturing base generate additional openings outside the metro.
Are there remote pricing manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. Pricing management is an analytical and strategic function that translates well to remote or hybrid arrangements. About 86% of pricing manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly the role has shifted away from requiring on-site presence. Competitive pricing strategy and data modeling work in particular are most commonly offered with location flexibility.
How can I get hired as a pricing manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a pricing analyst or revenue analyst role and building toward management from there. Large Georgia employers such as The Home Depot and Genuine Parts Company hire for rotational business analyst programs that feed into pricing teams. Adjacent roles in financial planning, supply chain coordination, or sales operations at Georgia-based distributors and manufacturers also provide the transferable experience that hiring managers value. Earning the Certified Pricing Professional credential early signals commitment and gives candidates a competitive edge over equally inexperienced applicants.
Where can I find and apply to pricing manager jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to pricing manager jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers across the state. Search the listings, find roles that match your experience and target location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
