Pricing Manager Jobs in Massachusetts: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a pricing manager in Massachusetts?
Pricing manager is not a licensed role in Massachusetts, so there is no state-issued credential required to work in the field. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business, followed by several years in pricing analysis, revenue management, or financial planning. Massachusetts's dominant hiring industries, particularly biotech and SaaS, often favor candidates with domain-specific experience. Earning a Certified Pricing Professional designation can accelerate advancement into management roles.
Which companies hire pricing managers in Massachusetts?
Employers hiring pricing managers in Massachusetts right now include Wayfair, PwC, and RSM, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Massachusetts's concentration of life sciences, fintech, and enterprise software companies means demand for pricing specialists with analytical and commercial backgrounds remains consistent throughout the year.
Which Massachusetts cities have the most pricing manager jobs?
Boston, Massachusetts, and Devens have the most pricing manager openings in Massachusetts. Boston and Cambridge drive the largest share of demand through their dense clusters of biotech headquarters, financial institutions, and technology companies, while Waltham and Burlington attract openings from the Route 128 corridor's medical device and software firms that maintain large commercial operations just outside the city.
Are there remote pricing manager jobs in Massachusetts?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 78% of pricing manager openings tied to Massachusetts are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how well the analytical and strategy-heavy nature of the role adapts to distributed work. Positions focused on financial modeling, SaaS subscription pricing, and competitive analysis are most commonly offered with remote or hybrid flexibility.
How can I get hired as a pricing manager in Massachusetts with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a pricing analyst or junior revenue operations role, which large Massachusetts employers in life sciences and fintech use as structured pipelines into pricing management. Companies like Thermo Fisher Scientific and large Boston-area financial services firms regularly recruit recent graduates into rotational finance or commercial operations programs. Moving laterally from financial analyst, business analyst, or sales operations roles is also common. Completing a Certified Pricing Professional preparation course or building a portfolio of pricing model projects strengthens applications significantly.
Where can I find and apply to pricing manager jobs in Massachusetts?
You can find and apply to pricing manager jobs in Massachusetts on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your background and target industry, and apply directly to each position through the listing.
