Supply Chain Manager Jobs in Phoenix: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a supply chain manager job in Phoenix?
Focus your search on Phoenix's aerospace and defense manufacturers in Deer Valley, semiconductor and electronics firms along the Loop 101 corridor, and the large healthcare systems and distributors based in Tempe and the East Valley. Candidates with APICS certifications, hands-on ERP experience, and familiarity with high-mix or regulated manufacturing environments stand out locally. Networking through the Arizona State University supply chain programs also opens doors with regional employers.
Which companies hire supply chain managers in Phoenix?
Companies currently hiring supply chain managers in Phoenix include Honeywell Aerospace, PepsiCo, and Trulieve, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Phoenix's employer mix skews toward aerospace OEMs and tier-one suppliers, semiconductor equipment manufacturers, large health systems, and regional distribution and 3PL operations serving the Southwest.
Are there remote supply chain manager jobs in Phoenix?
Yes, but with limits. Supply chain management is heavily operations-dependent, so roles tied to warehousing, plant floor coordination, or direct supplier management are almost always on-site. About 60% of supply chain manager openings tied to Phoenix are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. The roles most likely to offer flexibility are demand planning, procurement analytics, and vendor compliance positions at larger Phoenix-area tech and retail employers.
How can I get a supply chain manager job in Phoenix with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Phoenix is moving up from a coordinator or analyst role inside one of the city's large aerospace, healthcare, or electronics manufacturing operations. Companies like Honeywell, Intel, and Banner Health regularly hire supply chain coordinators who can advance internally. Completing an APICS CSCP or CPIM certification while in an entry role signals readiness for a manager title and is a concrete differentiator in the Phoenix market.
Which industries hire the most supply chain managers in Phoenix?
The sectors hiring the most supply chain managers in Phoenix are Consulting & Professional Services, Retail, and Chemicals & Materials, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Phoenix's role as a major aerospace manufacturing hub, a growing semiconductor production center, and a regional healthcare and distribution node drives sustained demand for experienced supply chain managers across all three sectors.
