Mosaic Property Management is seeking an experienced Multifamily Property Manager to oversee our growing portfolio of apartment communities throughout the Phoenix metro area.
We currently manage approximately 780 rental units, including a growing multifamily portfolio consisting primarily of small to mid-sized apartment communities. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day operations and performance of our multifamily properties, build strong relationships with property owners, and oversee the people and processes responsible for keeping each community performing well.
This is not an onsite Community Manager position. The role will work from our Gilbert office with regular property visits throughout the Valley.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of assigned multifamily communities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for multifamily property owners
- Captain onboarding and transitions of new multifamily properties
- Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, renewals, delinquency, vacancies, turns, and overall property condition
- Provide owners with regular property updates, recommendations, and performance reporting
- Oversee onsite Community Managers and remote leasing agents to ensure vacancies are marketed, leads are followed up on, and units are leased as efficiently as possible
- Monitor leasing activity and hold onsite and remote leasing staff accountable for performance and follow-up
- Oversee lease renewals, delinquency, lease compliance, and resident issues across assigned communities
- Manage the collection and delinquency process, including follow-up, notices, payment arrangements, and escalation when necessary
- Monitor open work orders and unit turns to ensure repairs are completed timely and properties remain well maintained
- Conduct regular property visits and identify maintenance, appearance, leasing, resident, and operational issues requiring attention
- Handle escalated resident, owner, vendor, and operational issues
What We're Looking For
- Arizona Real Estate License – REQUIRED
- 3+ years Multifamily property management experience
- Experience managing multiple multifamily properties
- Strong understanding of leasing, maintenance, unit turns, collections, renewals, resident relations, and day-to-day property operations
- Experience supervising or directing onsite employees, leasing personnel, and maintenance staff
- Comfortable making decisions and handling difficult conversations with owners, residents, vendors, and employees
- Appfolio experience a plus
