We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic multifamily property management team. Duties
- Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing activities, rent collection, and resident relations
- Support lease or rental agreement management, ensuring all documentation complies with legal standards and company policies
- Use property management tools such as OneSite and NAA Blue Moon to update records, process payments, and generate reports
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilitate communication between vendors, maintenance staff, and residents
- Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in-person interactions to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Contribute to budgeting processes by tracking expenses and assisting with financial reporting related to property operations
- Support compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws
Qualifications
- Proven experience with property management software such as OneSite is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, lease management, and Fair Housing regulations
- Previous experience in real estate administrative roles or property management companies is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively and negotiate solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, filing, and correspondence
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Office experience with strong phone etiquette and administrative skills such as filing and data entry
