Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all day-to-day product prep operations including FNSKU and compliance labeling, poly bagging, heat tunnel press, bubble wrapping, bundling, and pallet building.
Supervise and hold accountable a team of Product Prep Associates — ensuring daily quotas are met (2,200 units per press / 800 units per hand prep associate per day).
- Coordinate closely with the FBA and WFS shipping teams to ensure prepped product is correctly staged, organized, and ready for their shipment lines on time.
- Guide the shipping team on how to line up their shipments based on what prep has completed — communicating which SKUs are ready, in what quantities, and in what order.
- Monitor and enforce prep compliance standards for Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS including correct label placement, barcode coverage, poly bag sealing, suffocation warning labels, and pallet sheet attachment.
- Ensure the first completed box of every product run is taken to the scale for weight and dimensions before the run continues.
- Oversee case label QC on every product run — verifying UPC match, pack and quantity accuracy, and expiration date compliance.
- Manage the heat tunnel press area — enforce all press safety rules including the zero-tolerance policy on changing machine settings, blade cleaning procedures, and malfunction reporting.
- Assign daily prep tasks to associates based on shipment priority — coordinating with the Prep Lead and Warehouse Supervisor to align prep output with FBA and WFS shipping schedules.
- Monitor press blade maintenance — ensure blades are wiped with a wet towel every 10 minutes and the correct film roll is loaded for each product run.
- Ensure damaged products and extra products are immediately brought to the Inventory Manager rather than left at workstations or packed into runs.
- Oversee pallet building for all prep output — correct pallet selection, cardboard base, heavy boxes on the bottom, weight and height compliance, full wrap, and pallet sheet attached before shipping team takes any pallet.
- Maintain accurate daily production sheets for every associate — review and collect at end of each shift.
- Ensure the prep area and press stations are clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Communicate proactively with the Warehouse Supervisor and management regarding production output, supply needs, press maintenance issues, and any bottlenecks that could impact FBA or WFS shipment timelines.
