PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr Analyst, Systems Analysis in San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and manage business requirements for data and payment systems. Lead efforts to design and maintain scalable data models, transaction frameworks, and reporting capabilities that support organizational objectives. Partner with Data Technology teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of data delivery across platforms. Monitor and maintain critical business system processes to ensure continuous and reliable service. Identify, triage, and coordinate the resolution of production issues in collaboration with development and operations teams. Develop and maintain performance dashboards and provide analytical insights to support strategic decision-making. Conduct ad hoc data analysis and performance evaluations to identify improvement opportunities. Contribute to the design of future-state system solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related field, plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Alternatively, the Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related field, plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
1. Experience with SQL and relational database management systems, including MySQL or Oracle DB (3 years).
2. Experience developing interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau or Looker (2 years).
3. Experience designing and implementing scalable data models and ETL pipelines (3 years).
4. Experience performing data analysis and statistical modeling using Python (2 years).
5. Experience designing and building scalable data analytics solutions (1 year).
6. Experience with Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning techniques (1 year).
7. Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and data architectures (3 years).
8. Experience managing production data systems, diagnosing issues, and implementing performance improvements (2 years).

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:
Primary Location | Pay Range:
San Jose, California | Salary: $183,872.00-219,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
