Target Irvine's dominant hiring sectors directly: technology firms clustered in the Irvine Spectrum, health systems and biotech around the UCI medical corridor, and financial services companies in the Irvine Business Complex all bring on recruiting interns regularly. Candidates with coursework or project experience in HR, organizational psychology, or business administration stand out locally. Connecting with UCI career services or attending Orange County SHRM chapter events builds the kind of network that surfaces Irvine-specific openings early.
Which companies hire talent acquisition interns in Irvine?

Irvine's employer base is especially strong in technology, healthcare systems, and mid-to-large financial services firms that maintain in-house recruiting teams year-round.
Are there remote talent acquisition intern jobs in Irvine?

Sourcing, scheduling coordination, and applicant tracking system work are the functions most commonly performed off-site.
How can I get a talent acquisition intern job in Irvine with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Irvine is landing an HR coordinator or recruiting coordinator internship at one of the city's mid-size technology or healthcare companies, where smaller recruiting teams give interns direct exposure to full-cycle work. UCI and Concordia University Irvine both have co-op and internship pipelines that connect students directly to Irvine employers. Demonstrating familiarity with applicant tracking systems, even through a class project, gives candidates a concrete edge when competing against applicants with similar academic backgrounds.
