Introduction to the Team

Technical Integration Consultant

Expedia B2B is seeking an experienced and talented Technical Integration Consultant. As a Technical Integration Consultant, you will own and drive the technical integration discussions with various partners. You will work closely with our Business Development and Account Management organization. A passion for travel, a passion for technology, and technology expertise combined with excellent communication skills and business acumen are critical to a Technical Integration Consultant's success.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct workshop / presentation for technical team of affiliate partner on Expedia B2B Rapid API and other newly developed travel APIs
• Communicate complex technical details to technical and non-technical customers
• Give practical advice on the use of Expedia B2B APIs to affiliate partners
• Identify best practices and proactively share the best practice with affiliate partners
• Analyze and troubleshoot highly complex technical integration problems and propose effective solutions
• Collaborate with the Level 1/2 support team with complex escalations that require direct contact with top partners
• Apply AI tools to optimize processes and improve efficiency across integration and support activities
• Support affiliate partners in North America
• Engage in pre-sales activity with the sales team and propose solutions to meet partner needs
• Proactively help the Business Development and Account Managers to identify opportunities for new product offerings
• Perform Quality Assurance tests on API sites prior to implementation
• Manage and prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; or equivalent related professional experience
• 2-4 years of experience in coding or system integrations
• Proficient at multiple programming languages including SQL
• Experience in Restful API and database schema design
• Comfortable using enterprise resource management programs and tools
• Experience in e-commerce and/or travel industry a plus
• Pre-sales experience, working with sales and business partners a plus
• Experience building AI solutions and developing AI agents a plus
• Available for up to 10% travel per year
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Good sense of business acumen
• Ability to deliver high quality and workable solutions for technical issues
• Ability to communicate technical specifications and troubleshoot without supervision
• Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
• Familiarity with web-based and mobile-based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high-volume websites
• Bias to action around identifying opportunities for improvement
• Focuses on priorities that matter to the business
• Proficiency in AI solutions and developing AI agents a plus
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus

The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $111,000.00 to $155,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
