INTRODUCTION

McCann Systems is seeking a Technical Director candidate who is experienced with technical live event broadcasting. This role will take directions from the Business unit Producers to support the technological coordination of meetings and events while delivering a high level of service to internal teams, clients, and guests.

This position will be responsible for the technological delivery and coordination for all events. This role is VIP client and guest facing and must be comfortable with any client or guest request that is presented or suggested. Written and oral communication with follow up is necessary. Leading an AV team to facilitate requests and delegate responsibilities. You are technical, polished, service focused, self-motivated and able to convey and understand urgency.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced with Technical live event broadcasting coordination and production
• Ability to plan ahead recognizing event best practices
• Host, plan, and orchestrate Technical Requirements for company meetings/events/pitches that require the use of AV infrastructure (audio, video conferencing, operation of event production, visual display or projection, and room control systems)
• Oversee the schedule of planned events to ensure hosting and support are provided as requested
• Assist event organizers with AV content and equipment setup
• Work with Producers to help plan and understand needs of an event
• Resourceful and accommodating for clients and guest needs
• Ability to convey budgetary impact of requests made outside of traditional scope
• Ability to troubleshoot technical equipment and AV network issues at a moment’s notice
• Lead a team of 2+
• Flawless follow-up and communication
• Able to occasionally work early/late including weekends
• Working knowledge and the ability to learn AV configuration and management
• Proficient Will MS Suite
• Ability to lead a team, resolve disagreements, and be accommodating
• 5-7 Years in concierge AV end user experience
• Act as liaison to the McCann Help desk and Sales team

HOURS:

• Minimum 40 Hours, Monday – Friday
• Must be flexible to work additional hours and on weekends as required on an overtime basis.

LOCATION:

• Reporting to the customer site(s) daily.

Pay range is $130k-$150k annually based on experience.
