Position Overview

This role is responsible for leading complex projects and driving strategic initiatives across multiple teams. This role develops project frameworks, ensures alignment with organizational goals, and manages stakeholder expectations at all levels. The ideal candidate will have advanced project management expertise, experience in delivering enterprise-level projects, and the ability to influence decision-making and implement best practices.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the execution of large-scale or highly complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.

• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with senior leadership.

• Manage comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and recommendations.

• Anticipate and resolve critical issues, making data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.

• Oversee cross-functional collaboration, ensuring effective communication and alignment across multiple teams.

• Conduct advanced risk analysis and implement proactive mitigation strategies.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing best-in-class project management methodologies.

• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance, and quality assurance processes.

• Utilize AI tools and automation to optimize project workflows and reporting.

What You’ll Bring to Zelis:

• Typically has Bach. +4 yrs; Masters +2 yrs Attends company training and regional training in area of expertise. Presents own work to members of department and external consultants and external professional meetings

• Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification required.

• Proven track record of managing enterprise-level or multi-year projects.

• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).

• Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.

• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

• Proficiency in project management software and emerging AI-driven tools.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead through ambiguity.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

Zelis is headquartered in the U.S., with multiple locations across the country and in Hyderabad, India. Check out our locations to learn more about our offices. All employee work locations are based on the needs of the position and are determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities vary based on work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

While location expectations vary by role, candidates within approximately 50 miles of a U.S. office are generally preferred to support collaboration when needed. Our hybrid approach is flexible, and in-office presence is guided by team and business needs rather than a fixed weekly schedule.

Base Salary Range

$86,000.00 - $109,250.00

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
