About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

Mid Level Technical Sales Consultant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level technical sales consultant job?
Position your experience around ownership and outcomes, not just tasks. Highlight deals you led independently, technical problems you solved for clients, and revenue or retention results you drove. Applications that show you can manage a full sales cycle, communicate complex product value clearly, and operate with minimal supervision stand out at this level. Tailor your resume to the specific product domain or industry in each job posting.
Which companies hire mid level technical sales consultants?
Companies hiring mid level technical sales consultants right now include Esri, Ramp, and Rippling, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from technology vendors, SaaS platforms, and industrial or professional services firms that need consultants who can manage accounts and close technical deals with limited hand-holding.
Are there remote mid level technical sales consultant jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by industry and product type. About 24% of mid level technical sales consultant openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting demand from software and technology employers who support distributed sales teams. On-site and field-based roles remain common in manufacturing, industrial equipment, and healthcare technology sectors where in-person client engagement is central to the role.
How do I move up to a mid level technical sales consultant role?
The path to mid level is built on demonstrated ownership over time. Start by taking full responsibility for smaller accounts or project segments, then expand to managing complete client engagements independently. Develop deeper technical fluency in your product area, document measurable outcomes like quota attainment or client retention, and seek out projects that require cross-functional coordination. Consistent delivery without close supervision is what distinguishes mid level candidates from junior ones.
Which industries hire the most mid level technical sales consultants?
Mid Level technical sales consultant roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026.
