REMOTE - EDUCATION PROJECT ARCHITECT

NMR is seeking a highly creative and motivated architect who is passionate about architecture, has strong communication skills, and enjoys working with a team. POSITION LOCATION: Remote

Candidate must be based in California, Northern California preferred, to support site visits, client coordination and regulatory processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Architectural Degree from an accredited university (B. Arch or M. Arch)
• Architectural license is required, licensure in California is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, including small- and large-scale projects.
• Minimum of 5 years recent experience working with Division of the State Architect (DSA).
• Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills.
• Familiarity with Building codes and standard.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee and be responsible for project delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Design and manage Education projects of varying size.

· Coordinate design and production of all phases of design, bidding, and construction observation.

· Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, governing authorities, stakeholders and other team members.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The Salary Range for this position is $90,000-$160,000

The salary range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
