Kemper is a diversified insurance holding company that has been in business for over 100 years. We are firmly committed to serving the insurance needs of modest-income families. Our strength lies in our dedication to frequent personal home visits with new and existing customers to collect premiums, conduct sales of new policies, and address other service needs.
For new unlicensed agents, your journey begins with a paid training period. During this time, we provide the tools and guidance needed to study for and pass the licensing exams. Once licensed, you will be assigned an existing book of business, a portfolio of current customers from whom you’ll collect monthly premiums. You’ll earn a percentage of the premiums you collect, as well as a commission on all new sales you make. From there, the sky’s the limit! Through hard work and dedication, you can increase your monthly income with every new sale. It really is that simple.
If you’re passionate about serving the underserved, this is the career for you. Our agents gain personal satisfaction and community prestige by performing meaningful work that helps clients protect the people and property they cherish.

Senior Level Trainee Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level trainee job?
Employers hiring at the senior level look for candidates who have owned outcomes end to end, not just contributed to them. Highlight specific projects you led, decisions you made under ambiguity, and junior colleagues you mentored or upskilled. A portfolio of measurable results carries more weight than tenure alone, and demonstrating cross-functional influence gives you a clear edge over candidates at the same experience level.
Which companies hire senior level trainees?
Companies hiring senior level trainees right now include Kemper, WM, and LA Alarms, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from organizations large enough to run structured development programs and complex enough to need senior-caliber professionals leading them.
Are there remote senior level trainee jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options exist at the senior level, though they vary by industry and employer. About 33% of senior level trainee openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting demand for experienced professionals who can lead and deliver without requiring daily on-site oversight. On-site roles remain common in sectors where hands-on coordination is part of the work.
What makes a trainee role senior level?
A senior level trainee role is defined by the scope of ownership it carries. Where mid-level roles focus on execution within defined parameters, senior roles require setting direction, resolving ambiguity, and being accountable for outcomes rather than tasks. They typically involve leading workstreams or teams, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and contributing to decisions that shape how work gets done across the organization.
