Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: 4.5-day work week with rotating Saturday shifts

ABOUT THE ROLE
Lyme Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our busy, growing three-doctor small animal practice in beautiful Lyme, New Hampshire. WHAT OUR VETERINARY TECHNICIANS DO
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
- Provide compassionate nursing care from patient intake through discharge
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and diagnostic sample collection
- Run in-house laboratory testing, including CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and fecal testing
- Support surgical and dental procedures through preparation, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
- Educate clients with compassion, clarity, and confidence
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and outstanding patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred
- Strong patient handling and restraint skills
- Experience with nursing care, laboratory procedures, and anesthesia monitoring
