ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2015 and currently lead a team of three. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked as a physician recruiter and later as an Office Manager for a logistics company. I'm originally from Louisiana, graduated from the University of Louisiana Monroe with a degree in Speech Pathology, and come from a big family with seven siblings. Those experiences have shaped my passion for building relationships and serving others.
Giving back is an important part of our agency. I serve on the Black Chamber Board, participate in St. Jude fundraisers, and organize annual community events like food and coat drives. We believe in making a positive impact both inside and outside the office.
Our agency offers PTO, paid holidays, health benefits, a Simple IRA, licensing reimbursement, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. We're proud to have earned more than 1,200 five-star reviews by treating every customer like family.
Our culture is laid-back, fun, and relationship-focused. We don't believe customer interactions should feel transactional—we believe in building lasting relationships. I'm looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and wants to make a difference in customers' lives every day.

Search Account Representative Jobs in AlabamaAccount Representative Jobs in Alabama: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for account representatives in Alabama?
Employers with established visa sponsorship programs for account representative roles in Alabama include Regions Financial and Protective Life in Birmingham, defense and technology contractors in Huntsville such as Leidos and SAIC, and logistics companies serving the Port of Mobile. Larger enterprises with HR infrastructure tend to sponsor more consistently than small or mid-sized sales teams, where sponsorship is less common.
Which visa types are most common for account representative roles in Alabama?
The H-1B visa is the most frequently used visa for account representatives in Alabama when the role requires a specific bachelor's degree in a field like business, marketing, or communications. Employers must demonstrate the position qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT authorization are often preferred, as they provide immediate work eligibility without requiring a new petition before employment begins.
Which cities in Alabama have the most account representative sponsorship jobs?
Birmingham concentrates the most account representative sponsorship activity in Alabama, driven by its finance, healthcare, and professional services sectors. Huntsville follows closely, with technology and defense contractors regularly hiring for client-facing roles tied to federal contracts. Mobile sees activity in logistics and manufacturing accounts linked to port operations. Smaller markets like Montgomery and Tuscaloosa have more limited sponsorship pipelines for this role type.
How to find account representative visa sponsorship jobs in Alabama?
Migrate Mate is a job board built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship, and it filters account representative roles by state, including Alabama. Rather than sorting through postings that don't mention sponsorship, Migrate Mate surfaces positions from employers who have sponsored before. Searching by city, such as Birmingham or Huntsville, helps narrow results to the Alabama markets with the highest sponsorship activity for this role.
Are there any state-specific considerations for account representative sponsorship in Alabama?
Alabama does not impose state-level visa or work authorization requirements beyond federal standards, but the local job market has some practical patterns worth knowing. Many account representative roles tied to federal contracting in Huntsville require security clearances, which can complicate or limit sponsorship eligibility for non-citizens. University pipelines from the University of Alabama and Auburn also produce strong domestic candidate pools, meaning sponsored roles tend to go to candidates with specialized technical or industry backgrounds that are harder to fill locally.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account representative jobs in Alabama?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
