Who We're Looking For
You're a high-performing deposit growth professional with a proven ability to source, structure, and close significant operating deposit relationships. You bring a strong market presence, deep product knowledge, and a hunter mentality—focused on acquisition, not servicing. You're energized by clear production goals, competitive environments, and building long-term relationships with sophisticated clients. If you thrive in a pure production role where results matter and autonomy is earned, this role is for you.
About the Role
The Senior Banking Specialist is a production-focused role responsible for driving new deposit growth across First Western Trust's footprint. This position targets high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, privately held businesses, and family offices, with an annual new deposit production goal of $10–20 million. You'll structure tailored deposit and treasury solutions that support client liquidity, operations, and long-term relationships. This role partners closely with Profit Center teams while remaining focused on origination rather than ongoing service.
- Source, acquire, and grow deposit relationships with high-net-worth individuals, businesses, trusts, and family offices.
- Achieve annual new deposit production targets of $10–20 million across personal, business, and trust accounts.
- Structure customized deposit and treasury management solutions aligned with client liquidity, cash flow, and operational needs.
- Maintain expert knowledge of First Western's deposit products, treasury offerings, value proposition, and competitive market dynamics.
- Partner with Profit Center teams including relationship bankers, private bankers, and treasury and wealth partners to deliver comprehensive solutions and deepen relationships.
- Build and manage a disciplined sales pipeline through networking, community involvement, CRM documentation, and regular performance reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7–10 years of deposit-focused business development experience.
- Proven success sourcing and closing operating deposit relationships.
- Strong understanding of deposit products, treasury management solutions, and pricing strategies.
- Ability to assess client needs and structure tailored cash management solutions.
- Deep knowledge of competitive markets, rate environments, and industry trends.
- Self-directed, results-driven approach with strong relationship-building skills.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary: $125,000/YR + Commission, plus strong bonus potential.
- 401(k) plan with employer match.
- Paid parking and transportation benefits.
- Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including:
- Health savings accounts (HSA)
- Flexible spending accounts (FSA)
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Generous paid time off and bank holidays.
- Access to training and professional development programs.
- Sponsorship and support for obtaining professional certifications.
- A culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared success.

Which companies sponsor visas for banking managers in Arizona?
JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Western Alliance Bancorporation are among the larger institutions in Arizona with documented histories of sponsoring work visas for banking professionals. National and regional banks with Phoenix or Scottsdale operations tend to have the HR infrastructure and legal resources needed to support H-1B visa and other visa petitions for management-level hires.
Which visa types are most common for banking manager roles in Arizona?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for banking managers in Arizona, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in finance, business, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. L-1A visas are also relevant for managers transferring within a multinational bank. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may explore the TN visa under the USMCA.
Which cities in Arizona have the most banking manager sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix is by far the primary hub for banking manager roles in Arizona, home to regional headquarters and major branch networks for national banks. Scottsdale has a strong presence in wealth management and private banking. Tempe also hosts significant financial services operations, particularly back-office and commercial banking functions tied to large national institutions with established visa sponsorship programs.
How to find banking manager visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters banking manager jobs in Arizona by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you're not sorting through roles where sponsorship isn't available. The platform aggregates positions from employers with active sponsorship histories, which is particularly useful for banking manager candidates who need to confirm an employer can support H-1B, L-1 visa, or other work visa petitions before applying.
Are there any Arizona-specific considerations for banking managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Arizona's banking sector has grown alongside the state's population and corporate relocation trends, increasing demand for experienced banking managers in Phoenix's expanding financial district. Because banking manager roles are classified as specialty occupations, employers must file a Labor Condition Application certifying that the offered wage meets Department of Labor prevailing wage standards for the Phoenix or Scottsdale metropolitan area before sponsoring an H-1B petition.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored banking manager jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
