We are looking for an innovative rendering specialist with an industrial design background to join our in-house creative department. This is an extremely visible position and we’re looking for someone who has a passion for design and thrives in a creative environment. You will be designing and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and turning ideas and concepts into production-ready visuals. You will be a key player in the product visualization and marketing imagery across a variety of products. You must be able to implement established brand guidelines, while still innovating and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Responsibilities:
- 3D modeling familiarity in Solidworks for ideation, rendering scene arrangement, and model manipulation.
- Creating high-quality, visually appealing renderings and animations while considering composition and end-purpose.
- Reflect brand presence in visualization choices and demonstrate understanding of product subject matter.
- Low fidelity sketching concepts for rapid visualization as communication tools of ideas.
- Awareness of latest trends and unique visualization approaches to push the norm.
- Affinity for visualizing and desiring a high quality, high impact, consistent result.
- Demonstrate awareness of emerging technologies and methods to aid creative process.
- Exercise keen attention to details for material selections and finishes within Keyshot for accuracy and quality.
- Understanding lighting within Keyshot and able to achieve specific result.
- Post processing imagery in Photoshop for final touchups as applicable.
- Process and implement creative input from multiple stakeholders.
- Create imagery for website, digital imagery, ads, print imagery, and packaging.
- Create imagery for support materials, instructions, and infographics to explain products and ideas.
- Working within the Adobe Suite for file preparation as applicable.
- Create flawless, production ready files, and follow file structuring system.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Design
- At least 3 years post-college professional design experience.
- Must have a digital portfolio/website demonstrating design abilities.
- Previous and strong experience in product visualization.
- Must be proficient in Solidworks and Keyshot. Other modeling or visualization programs a plus.
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite— most notably Photoshop and Illustrator, with InDesign and Acrobat a plus.
- A designer who sees how a solution fits into a larger strategy and enjoys diving into the details.
- Capable of effectively engaging and communicating with designers, engineers, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Extremely careful attention to details.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Open to feedback and has willingness to learn and grow.
- Works well on a team, as well as individually.
- Self-starter who is deadline driven.
- Clear and strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- English proficiency with excellent grammatical and writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
