INTRODUCTION
Founded in 1977 as the Senior Care Action Network, SCAN began with a simple but radical idea: that older adults deserve to stay healthy and independent. That belief was championed by a group of community activists we still honor today as the “12 Angry Seniors.” Their mission continues to guide everything we do.
Today, SCAN is a nonprofit health organization serving more than 500,000 people across Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington, with over $8 billion in annual revenue. With nearly five decades of experience, we have built a distinctive, values-driven platform dedicated to improving care for older adults.
Our work spans Medicare Advantage, fully integrated care models, primary care, care for the most medically and socially complex populations, and next-generation care delivery models. Across all of this, we are united by a shared commitment: combining compassion with discipline, innovation with stewardship, and growth with integrity.
At SCAN, we believe scale should strengthen—not dilute—our mission. We are building the future of care for older adults, grounded in purpose, accountability, and respect for the people and communities we serve.

Which companies sponsor visas for AI Product Managers in California?
Large technology employers with established immigration programs, including Google, Apple, Meta, Salesforce, and Adobe, regularly sponsor AI Product Managers in California. Bay Area AI-focused companies such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Scale AI also hire internationally. Mid-size SaaS companies and enterprise software firms headquartered in California frequently sponsor as well, particularly when candidates bring specialized machine learning or data product experience.
Which visa types are most common for AI Product Manager roles in California?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for AI Product Managers in California. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Candidates already holding L-1 visa intracompany transferee status or O-1 visa extraordinary ability visas also fill these roles. Australians may find E-3 visas processed quickly through California-based employers given familiarity with the category.
Which cities in California have the most AI Product Manager sponsorship jobs?
San Francisco and the broader Bay Area, including San Jose, Mountain View, and Palo Alto, account for the largest share of AI Product Manager sponsorship roles in California. Los Angeles is a growing second hub, particularly for AI companies working in media, entertainment technology, and consumer applications. San Diego has a smaller but active presence driven by defense technology and biotech-adjacent AI product roles.
How to find ai product manager visa sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse AI Product Manager roles in California without sifting through positions that do not sponsor. You can narrow results by state and role type to surface employers actively hiring international candidates. Given how competitive California AI roles are, using a sponsorship-specific search tool like Migrate Mate saves significant time in the job search process.
Are there state-specific considerations for AI Product Managers seeking sponsorship in California?
California employers must comply with Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements tied to the San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles metro areas, which are among the highest wage designations in the country for product management roles. The state's large university pipeline, including UC Berkeley, Stanford, and UCLA, means employers are well-practiced at sponsoring international graduate talent. California labor law also applies on top of federal immigration requirements, so employers typically involve legal counsel early in the hiring process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored ai product manager jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
