Which companies sponsor visas for AI product managers in Texas?
Several large employers in Texas have consistent H-1B sponsorship histories for AI product manager roles. Dell Technologies and NXP Semiconductors in Austin, AT&T and Texas Instruments in Dallas, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Houston are among the most active. A growing number of AI-focused startups in the Austin corridor also sponsor, particularly those backed by venture capital with international hiring experience.
Which cities in Texas have the most AI product manager sponsorship jobs?
Austin leads the state for AI product manager sponsorship activity, anchored by a dense concentration of tech companies and AI startups along the I-35 corridor. Dallas-Fort Worth is the second-largest hub, with strong demand from enterprise software and financial technology companies. Houston contributes primarily through energy-tech and health-tech employers applying AI to traditionally non-tech industries.
How to find ai product manager visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify AI product manager roles in Texas where employers are actively open to sponsoring. Rather than manually screening hundreds of postings, you can browse roles already tagged for sponsorship, filtered to Texas cities like Austin, Dallas, and Houston where these positions are most concentrated.
Which visa types are most common for AI product manager roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for AI product managers in Texas, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for TN status under the USMCA. Those with an advanced degree or exceptional research contributions sometimes pursue the EB-2 NIW as a longer-term pathway.
Are there any Texas-specific factors that affect AI product manager visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations and compensation benchmarking employers use when filing Labor Condition Applications with the Department of Labor. The University of Texas at Austin, UT Dallas, and Rice University produce strong pipelines of international graduates in computer science and engineering, meaning employers in Texas are accustomed to sponsoring candidates who transition from OPT. Austin's rapid tech growth has also increased employer familiarity with the H-1B process compared to less tech-dense states.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored ai product manager jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
