La Familia is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and organized Events & Promotions Coordinator to manage dispensary promotions, trade shows, industry events, and brand activations throughout the Los Angeles area.
A primary focus of this position will be conducting on-site PADs at dispensaries, educating customers and dispensary staff about La Familia products, increasing brand awareness, and supporting retail sales.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site PADs and promotional events at dispensaries.
- Educate customers, budtenders, buyers, and dispensary staff about La Familia products.
- Explain product benefits, usage, pricing, and current promotions.
- Plan and coordinate trade shows, industry events, and other brand activations.
- Manage event schedules, staffing, setup, materials, and promotional merchandise.
- Set up and manage promotional tables, displays, samples, and marketing materials.
- Build relationships with dispensary managers, buyers, budtenders, and event organizers.
- Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to support new and existing accounts.
- Manage brand ambassadors or promotional staff when needed.
- Track event attendance, customer feedback, leads, expenses, and promotional results.
- Maintain promotional materials, displays, and event inventory.
- Represent La Familia professionally at all events and dispensary promotions.
Qualifications
- Experience in promotions, events, field marketing, sales, hospitality, cannabis, or a related industry.
- Cannabis industry experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
- Outgoing and comfortable speaking with customers and educating groups about products.
- Professional, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Must be available to work some evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
