JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator
LOCATION: San Diego, CA (Onsite Monday-Thursday)
SCHEDULE: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM PST
DURATION: 2-Year Contract
PAY: Up to $33-38/hr
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support operations within the Pipeline Operations team, coordinating inspection and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance and timely execution of work orders.
- Manage and coordinate work orders for inspection and maintenance teams
- Troubleshoot order issues and ensure timely resolution
- Support gas emergency response and compliance activities
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and field teams to ensure smooth operations
- Track, monitor, and manage project deadlines and deliverables
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Coordinate with Gas Technical Services, Region Engineering, Field Utility Specialists, and Construction teams
- Ensure work orders are created, processed, and completed efficiently
- Monitor and support compliance-related maintenance and inspection activities
- Assist in project tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity within systems
- Support cross-functional communication between field and office teams
- Utilize systems such as SAP (ECC/S4HANA) to manage workflows and data
- Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Quick learner with a proactive and dependable work style
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio)
- Experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) preferred
- Understanding of compliance and operational processes
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- Previous experience as an Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar role preferred
- Experience with project management, compliance, or operations support
- Background in utilities or construction industry preferred (not required)
