- Build dashboards and reports to give Product and Engineering teams visibility into performance trends.
- Support executive and board-level discussions with product insights and customer impact metrics.
- Travel occasionally to visit Kodiak’s commercial deployment and operations locations.

Which companies sponsor visas for product analysts in California?
Large technology companies headquartered in California, including Google, Meta, Apple, Salesforce, Adobe, and Airbnb, have well-established H-1B visa sponsorship programs and regularly hire product analysts. Mid-size and growth-stage companies in the Bay Area and Los Angeles also sponsor frequently, though sponsorship practices vary by company size, hiring volume, and the specific team making the offer.
Which visa types are most common for product analyst roles in California?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product analysts in California, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a related field such as statistics, computer science, economics, or business analytics. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT can work while their employer files an H-1B petition. The O-1A is an option for candidates with demonstrated exceptional achievement in their field.
Which cities in California have the most product analyst sponsorship jobs?
The San Francisco Bay Area, including San Jose and the broader Silicon Valley corridor, accounts for the largest share of product analyst sponsorship activity in California. Los Angeles has a growing concentration of tech and media companies that hire product analysts, particularly in entertainment technology and e-commerce. San Diego has emerging opportunities through its biotech and defense technology sectors.
How to find product analyst visa sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search product analyst roles in California without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. The platform is built for international candidates and surfaces openings from companies with active sponsorship track records in California. Filtering by location and role type on Migrate Mate narrows results to the most relevant opportunities for your situation.
Are there any California-specific considerations for product analyst sponsorship candidates?
California's high cost of living means prevailing wage requirements for H-1B product analyst roles tend to be set at higher levels than in most other states, which reflects the Department of Labor's regional wage determinations. The state's deep university pipeline, particularly from UC Berkeley, UCLA, and Stanford, means competition for product analyst roles is concentrated among candidates with strong quantitative and technical backgrounds. Bay Area employers are generally experienced with the sponsorship process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product analyst jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
