Responsibilities

- Work with technical teams to define how smart contracts, custody solutions, and supported blockchain networks fit into product capabilities.
- Hands on involvement with QA and UAT test plan reviews and defining user acceptance criteria– ensuring the product delivers to its critical business requirements and objectives – and ensures high end-user satisfaction.
- Evaluate networks and vendor solutions for suitability in institutional funding and settlement use cases. Serve as the product’s key advocate, communicating vision, priorities, and trade-offs to executives and cross‑functional teams.

- Deep analytical mindset, problem solving skills and can-do attitude. Ability to plan, estimate and deliver timeframes in conjunction with Tech leads and Project Management.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management and organizational skills.
- Should be able of evolving a product from its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to its full target state through iterative development, with a strong focus on accelerating time to market.

Which companies sponsor visas for product analysts in New York?
Large financial institutions and technology firms account for a significant share of product analyst sponsorship activity in New York. JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Bloomberg, Spotify, Amazon, and Mastercard have all filed Labor Condition Applications for product analyst roles in New York. Mid-size fintech companies and media platforms headquartered in the city also sponsor regularly, though at lower volumes than enterprise employers.
Which visa types are most common for product analyst roles in New York?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product analysts in New York, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, computer science, economics, or business analytics. Candidates with prior OPT authorization sometimes extend employment through cap-exempt employers or STEM OPT. Australian nationals may also qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and is filed directly with USCIS or at a consulate.
Which cities in New York have the most product analyst sponsorship jobs?
Manhattan accounts for the vast majority of product analyst sponsorship activity in New York, driven by the density of financial services, technology, and media companies headquartered or heavily staffed there. Brooklyn has seen growing demand, particularly from tech-forward startups and e-commerce operations. Outside New York City, Buffalo and Albany have a smaller but present market, primarily through healthcare systems and state government contractors.
How to find product analyst visa sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates searching for visa sponsorship jobs, including product analyst roles in New York. The platform filters listings to employers who have an active sponsorship history, saving significant research time. Searching by role and filtering to New York shows current openings at companies that have filed for product analyst positions before, giving you a more targeted starting point than a general job search.
Are there any state-specific considerations for product analysts seeking sponsorship in New York?
New York's Department of Labor sets prevailing wage requirements that employers must meet when filing a Labor Condition Application for H-1B positions, and rates in the New York City metro area are among the highest in the country, which can affect which employers actively pursue sponsorship for junior roles. The city's large concentration of universities, including NYU, Columbia, and Cornell Tech, also creates a steady pipeline of OPT candidates that many employers factor into their hiring and sponsorship decisions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product analyst jobs in New York?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
