ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute pilot-scale manufacturing batches, scale-up trials, and pilot coating runs to support product development, process validation, and commercialization activities.
- Conduct analytical testing in support of product development projects and plan and execute project work in an organized and professional manner.
- Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams including PD, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot pilot lab equipment and processes. Comply with all company regulations, safety requirements, quality standards, environmental policies, and laboratory best practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, batch records, equipment logs, trial summaries, and other development documentation.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers, contractors, and service providers to troubleshoot issues, support maintenance activities, implement upgrades, and ensure reliable operation and capability of pilot lab systems.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience operating pilot-scale manufacturing, mixing, coating, and laboratory equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment, process, and operational issues.
- Knowledge of laboratory and manufacturing safety practices, chemical handling, and safe equipment operation.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across Product Development, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.

The hourly pay range for this role is $65,000 - $73,000. This range reflects the good-faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting. This role is classified as non-exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees in this position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms of compensation, depending on role and location. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, training, certifications, and work location.
