Which animal care and pet services companies sponsor TN visas in Colorado?
Veterinary corporate groups operating multi-location clinics in Colorado, university-affiliated animal hospitals such as Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Fort Collins, and biomedical research organizations are among the employers most likely to have experience sponsoring TN visas. Large animal hospitals and specialty referral centers in the Denver metro also hire internationally for veterinarian and veterinary technologist roles requiring degree credentials that align with TN categories.
Which cities in Colorado have the most animal care and pet services TN sponsorship jobs?
Denver and its suburbs, including Aurora and Lakewood, account for the largest share of animal care TN roles given the density of specialty veterinary clinics and corporate practice groups. Fort Collins is a significant hub due to Colorado State University and its veterinary college. Colorado Springs and Boulder also have active markets, supported by research institutions, wildlife organizations, and a high concentration of pet-owning households that drives demand for credentialed veterinary professionals.
What types of animal care and pet services roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
The TN visa category includes veterinarians, who must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, and animal scientists with relevant bachelor's or higher degrees in animal science, zoology, or a related field. Roles such as veterinary research scientists and laboratory animal veterinarians at universities or biomedical companies may also qualify. Positions like veterinary technicians, kennel staff, or pet groomers generally do not meet TN specialty occupation requirements because they do not require a qualifying university-level degree.
How do I find animal care and pet services TN sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for TN visa sponsorship jobs in animal care and pet services across Colorado, showing employers with verified sponsorship history so you can focus on roles where international hiring is already established. Because TN eligibility depends on both the occupation category and your specific degree, reviewing employer job descriptions carefully before applying is important. Migrate Mate's Colorado-specific filters help you identify active openings at veterinary practices, research institutions, and animal health organizations in the state.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for animal care professionals seeking TN sponsorship?
Colorado requires veterinarians to hold a Colorado state veterinary license to practice, which is separate from TN visa eligibility and must typically be obtained before or shortly after starting employment. Canadian nationals applying for TN status at the border should confirm their degree credentials are in a TN-eligible category such as veterinarian or animal scientist. Colorado's active agricultural and equine industries create some demand for large animal veterinarians, but applicants should verify with employers that the specific role and degree combination meets USCIS TN requirements.
