Which accounting companies sponsor TN visas in Colorado?
The Big Four firms, Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG, all have a presence in Denver and are among the more consistent sponsors of TN visas for accounting professionals in Colorado. Regional public accounting firms such as Plante Moran and EKS&H (now Forvis Mazars) also operate in the state. Large corporations with Denver-based finance divisions, including DaVita and Dish Network, hire accountants and have sponsored TN workers in the past.
Which cities in Colorado have the most accounting TN sponsorship jobs?
Denver concentrates the largest share of accounting TN sponsorship opportunities in Colorado, driven by its dense cluster of corporate headquarters, public accounting offices, and financial services firms. Boulder attracts accounting roles tied to its technology and startup ecosystem. Colorado Springs has demand from defense contractors and government-adjacent employers. Aurora and Greenwood Village also host regional finance and accounting operations for national companies.
What types of accounting roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
The TN visa lists Accountant as an explicit qualifying occupation, which covers roles such as staff accountant, senior accountant, financial analyst with an accounting focus, internal auditor, and tax accountant. The position must require at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field. General bookkeeping or clerical finance roles that do not require a qualifying degree typically do not meet the TN standard.
How do I find accounting TN sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by TN visa, the accounting industry, and Colorado to see roles where employers have indicated willingness to sponsor. This saves significant time compared to reviewing general job postings that rarely specify visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate focuses on connecting Canadian and Mexican professionals in fields like accounting with U.S. employers already open to the TN process.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for accounting TN sponsorship?
Colorado does not impose state-level licensing requirements that affect TN eligibility itself, but employers in regulated industries such as public accounting may ask candidates to hold or be pursuing a CPA license, which requires meeting Colorado State Board of Accountancy education requirements. Canadian and Mexican professionals should confirm their degree meets the equivalency standard expected by the employer, as Colorado-based firms sometimes work with credential evaluation services to verify foreign accounting credentials.
