Which healthcare companies sponsor TN visas in Colorado?
Large hospital systems and health networks in Colorado with a history of hiring internationally trained professionals include UCHealth, CommonSpirit Health (formerly SCL Health), Children's Hospital Colorado, and Centura Health. Academic medical centers affiliated with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus also hire in qualifying TN categories. Sponsorship availability varies by role, department, and current hiring needs, so confirming with each employer directly is important.
Which cities in Colorado have the most healthcare TN sponsorship jobs?
Denver and Aurora together form the state's largest healthcare employment hub, anchored by the Anschutz Medical Campus and major hospital networks. Colorado Springs supports a growing healthcare market with facilities like UCHealth Memorial and Penrose-St. Francis. Fort Collins and Boulder have smaller but active healthcare hiring markets tied to regional hospitals and outpatient networks. Rural areas exist but typically have fewer TN-sponsoring employers.
What types of healthcare roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in Colorado?
The TN visa covers a defined list of healthcare occupations for Canadian and Mexican nationals. Qualifying roles commonly found in Colorado include physicians, nurses (registered nurses with a baccalaureate degree), physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical laboratory technologists, pharmacists, and dietitians. Roles must meet the specific educational and credential requirements outlined in the USMCA occupations list. Not all clinical support or administrative healthcare titles qualify.
How do I find healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is a job board built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship in the U.S. You can filter by TN visa type, the healthcare industry, and Colorado as your target state to see relevant open roles. This is more efficient than searching general job boards and manually verifying which employers are open to TN sponsorship, which is rarely stated explicitly in standard job postings.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for healthcare TN sponsorship?
Colorado requires foreign-trained healthcare professionals to obtain state licensure before practicing, regardless of visa status. For example, nurses must apply through the Colorado Board of Nursing, and physical therapists through the DORA Physical Therapy Board. Licensing timelines vary and can affect your start date, so beginning the licensure process early is important. Some employers will not initiate TN sponsorship until licensure is confirmed or in progress.
