Which healthcare companies sponsor TN visas in Oregon?
Oregon's largest health systems, including OHSU, Providence Health & Services, Legacy Health, and PeaceHealth, are among the employers that have sponsored TN visas for international healthcare professionals. Smaller regional hospital groups and specialty clinics also hire TN workers, particularly for nursing, therapy, and pharmacy roles where there are sustained staffing needs across the state.
Which cities in Oregon have the most healthcare TN sponsorship jobs?
Portland is the primary hub, home to OHSU's academic medical center and multiple Providence and Legacy campuses. Salem and Eugene each have regional hospital systems with ongoing clinical hiring. Bend has grown significantly as a healthcare market through St. Charles Health System. Rural areas in southern and eastern Oregon also post openings, though with less frequency than the Willamette Valley corridor.
What types of healthcare roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in Oregon?
The TN visa covers a defined list of healthcare occupations, including registered nurses (with a baccalaureate or licenciatura degree), physical therapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, medical laboratory technologists, dentists, and physicians for research or teaching roles. Roles outside this list, such as medical assistants or home health aides, do not qualify regardless of employer interest in sponsoring.
How do I find healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in Oregon so you can search without sifting through listings that don't apply to your visa situation. Because TN sponsorship requires employers familiar with the process, focusing on larger Oregon health systems and filtering by TN visa type on Migrate Mate helps narrow results to roles where sponsorship is a realistic possibility.
Are there any state-specific considerations for healthcare TN workers in Oregon?
Oregon requires healthcare professionals to hold active state licensure before practicing, and licensing timelines vary by profession. Registered nurses must obtain an Oregon license or a Nursys-verified multistate compact license. Physical therapists and pharmacists go through separate Oregon licensing boards. Securing licensure in parallel with the TN process is important since most employers require proof of Oregon licensure before a start date is confirmed.
