Which consulting companies sponsor TN visas in Oregon?
Large professional services firms with Oregon offices, including Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, and Slalom Consulting in Portland, have historically filed TN visa petitions for qualifying roles. Smaller regional management consulting and engineering firms also sponsor TN workers, though their hiring patterns vary by engagement pipeline. Checking a firm's prior TN filing history through DOL LCA disclosure data can help identify active sponsors.
Which cities in Oregon have the most consulting TN sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the large majority of consulting TN sponsorship activity in Oregon, given its concentration of corporate headquarters, regional offices, and tech-adjacent professional services firms. Beaverton and Hillsboro also see demand tied to the semiconductor and technology corridor along the Sunset Corridor. Eugene and Bend have smaller but growing consulting markets, particularly in environmental and engineering advisory services.
What types of consulting roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN-eligible consulting roles generally fall under the Management Consultant or Engineer categories listed in the USMCA. Management Consultant positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher and involve advising organizations on strategy, operations, or organizational structure. IT consulting roles may qualify under the Computer Systems Analyst category. The job duties must align specifically with a recognized TN occupation category, and the employer must support that alignment in the offer letter.
How do I find consulting TN sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type, so you can search for TN-sponsored consulting roles in Oregon without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. The platform aggregates consulting openings from firms that have indicated TN sponsorship willingness, covering management, IT, and engineering consulting roles across Portland and the broader Oregon market. Filtering by TN and industry on Migrate Mate narrows the search considerably compared to general job boards.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in consulting?
Oregon does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond standard federal TN rules. However, consulting firms operating in Oregon's technology corridor, particularly those serving semiconductor clients in the Washington County area, may have specific clearance or background check requirements that affect hiring timelines for foreign nationals. Environmental consulting firms working on Oregon state contracts may also have additional vetting processes worth confirming directly with the employer before applying.
