Which accounting companies sponsor TN visas in Massachusetts?
The Big Four firms, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, and EY, all have significant Boston offices and a track record of sponsoring TN visas for accounting professionals. Regional firms like Grant Thornton and BDO also hire in Massachusetts. Beyond public accounting, large healthcare systems such as Mass General Brigham and financial institutions including Fidelity Investments regularly sponsor accounting roles under the TN category.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most accounting TN sponsorship jobs?
Boston accounts for the majority of accounting TN sponsorship opportunities in Massachusetts, driven by its concentration of financial services firms, law firms, and healthcare organizations. Cambridge sees demand tied to its biotechnology and university sectors. Worcester and Springfield have smaller but active accounting markets, primarily with regional employers, manufacturing companies, and healthcare networks that periodically hire internationally.
What types of accounting roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa eligibility for accounting roles requires the position to be classified as an Accountant under the USMCA profession list, meaning the role must involve accounting duties and the candidate must hold a baccalaureate or licenciatura degree in accounting. Common qualifying titles include staff accountant, senior accountant, internal auditor, tax accountant, and financial analyst with core accounting responsibilities. General bookkeeping roles without a degree requirement typically do not qualify.
How do I find accounting TN sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type, so you can search for TN-sponsored accounting roles in Massachusetts without sorting through positions that offer no immigration support. Because TN sponsorship is employer-driven and not always advertised clearly, using a platform like Migrate Mate that flags sponsorship availability is more efficient than general job searches. Targeting Boston-area firms in financial services, healthcare, and public accounting gives you the strongest candidate pool.
Are there any Massachusetts-specific considerations for accounting TN sponsorship?
Massachusetts employers in regulated industries, particularly financial services and healthcare, often involve compliance-heavy accounting roles that align well with TN requirements. Massachusetts has no state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal USMCA rules, but employers in Boston's competitive market may move quickly through hiring cycles. Canadian citizens can enter at the port of entry with a TN application, while Mexican nationals must obtain their TN visa at a U.S. consulate before starting work.
