MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- CPA candidates preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PRIMARY DUTIES
- Review of individual and business tax returns (Form 1040, 1065, 1120-S).
- Preparation of complex individual and business tax returns (Form 1040, 1065, 1120-S)
- Assist with tax planning and tax research projects.
- Collaborate with the outsourced accounting services team for client accounting needs.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters, questions, and planning opportunities.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to provide exceptional client service and ensure successful engagement delivery.
- Grow into a broader client relationship management role over time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field
- Bachelor's degree with a preferred field of study in Accounting
- CPA eligible
- 2+ years' or relevant work and industry experience
- Software Experience - CCH Axcess Tax, Microsoft Office 365
