Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for product management leads?
Atlanta-headquartered companies are the primary sponsors for product management lead roles in Georgia. NCR Voyix, Cox Enterprises, Delta Technology, Global Payments, and Intellicheck have established H-1B sponsorship histories for senior product roles. Large consulting firms with major Atlanta offices, including Accenture, Deloitte, and IBM, also sponsor product management leads regularly, particularly for enterprise software and financial technology products.
Which visa types are most common for product management lead roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product management leads in Georgia, as the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Candidates with extraordinary achievement may qualify for the O-1A. Those transferring within a multinational company can explore the L-1A, which applies to managerial and executive roles.
Which cities in Georgia have the most product management lead sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of product management lead sponsorship activity in Georgia. Neighborhoods like Midtown, Buckhead, and the Atlanta Tech Village area host the highest concentration of tech employers. Alpharetta, just north of Atlanta, has a significant enterprise software cluster that includes companies such as NCR Voyix and various SaaS firms. Other Georgia cities have limited activity in this specific role category.
How to find product management lead visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it practical to search for product management lead roles in Georgia without sorting through employers who don't sponsor. The platform surfaces roles from companies with documented H-1B filing histories, which is particularly useful in Atlanta's fintech and enterprise software sectors where sponsorship willingness varies considerably by employer size and product org structure.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for product management leads seeking visa sponsorship?
Georgia does not have a state income tax on wages at a rate competitive with high-tax states, which can factor into compensation negotiations, though employers still set prevailing wage floors using Department of Labor data for the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell metropolitan area. Georgia Tech's graduate pipeline feeds a number of Atlanta product teams, meaning employers in the region are generally familiar with sponsoring candidates on OPT or STEM OPT before transitioning them to H-1B status.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product management lead jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
