Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers setting clear goals, expectations, and growth plans.

-
Write and review clear product narratives and requirements that articulate vision, tradeoffs, and execution plans.
-
Partner closely with design and engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end, validating outcomes through experimentation, analytics, and customer feedback.
-
Work with marketing and business teams to deepen Apple ecosystem and partner platform integrations.
-
Champion a culture of learning, iteration, and customer obsession; socialize outcomes and insights with leadership.
-
Take strong, evidence-based positions while remaining open to feedback and thoughtful compromise.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
10+ years of product management experience, including a proven track record of shipping large-scale, customer-facing consumer products and features.
-
Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams.

Which companies sponsor visas for product management leads in California?
Large tech employers are the most consistent sponsors for product management lead roles in California. Companies like Google, Apple, Meta, Salesforce, Adobe, Intuit, and Qualcomm have established immigration programs and regularly file H-1B petitions for senior product roles. Enterprise software firms and late-stage startups in the Bay Area and Los Angeles also sponsor, though smaller companies do so less predictably.
Which visa types are most common for product management lead roles in California?
The H-1B is the most widely used visa for product management leads in California, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Candidates already holding L-1B or O-1A status also work in these roles. Australians may qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and processes faster than the H-1B.
Which cities in California have the most product management lead sponsorship jobs?
The San Francisco Bay Area, including San Jose, Mountain View, and Menlo Park, accounts for the largest concentration of product management lead sponsorship jobs in California. Los Angeles is a strong secondary market, particularly in media tech, fintech, and e-commerce. San Diego has a growing cluster of biotech and defense tech employers that hire senior PMs with sponsorship.
How to find product management lead visa sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to browse product management lead openings in California without wading through roles that don't sponsor. You can narrow results by location and seniority level to focus on California-based employers actively hiring international candidates for PM lead positions. Migrate Mate sources listings from companies with verified sponsorship histories.
Are there any California-specific considerations for product management lead sponsorship?
California's prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program reflect the state's high cost of living, meaning employers must meet wage levels set for the specific metro area, whether San Francisco, Los Angeles, or San Diego. The state's strong university pipeline from UC Berkeley, Stanford, and UCLA also means competition for sponsored roles is high. Employers in regulated industries like healthcare tech or defense may require additional security or compliance vetting.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product management lead jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
