Who are we looking for?
Provides End User support services at a customer site. These resources will perform in-scope services at the end user desk or services may be delivered in a Walk-in Center where the end user comes for assistance. Tasks performed are incident or service request driven as a standard, but could come directly from high profile customers like VIPs. Supported services include hardware break-fix repair, software break-fix/remediation, Installation, Move, Add, Change and Disposal (IMAC-D) and Lifecycle Refresh on end user hardware and software, Hands and Eyes Support for remote Server and Network teams, and Hardware Depot Management.
Technical Skills:
- Building, imaging, migrating data, setting up user on new device, deploying
- Boxing and unboxing/shipping of equipment
- Cleaning and organizing
- Providing basic desktop support to end users
- Some of the work will be related to refresh to Win 10
Process Skills:
- Timely responsiveness to tasks including timecards, email, etc…
- Customer facing/professionalism
- Have good time management skills
- Complete follow-on actions as appropriate
- Experience using responding to priorities, timely and relevant updates, use of ticket status (e.g. pend states), prompt closure
Knowledge Skills:
- Follow processes and procedures
- Ability to work on a team and take direction from senior staff
- Motivated
Qualification:
- A+ would be good to have (not mandatory)
- 3-5 years-experience
