We are seeking an experienced RAN Integration Field Technician for a contract opportunity supporting wireless network deployment projects across the United States. The position focuses on Small Cell technology, including Nokia AirScale Indoor Radio, Flexi Zone, and related micro/pico radio platforms, with an emphasis on site integration, commissioning, and end-to-end troubleshooting of Small Cell Hubs and Nodes. Candidates should have hands-on telecom field experience and a strong understanding of LTE/5G network technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a field-focused telecom professional to work with advanced wireless technologies and contribute to the deployment and optimization of next-generation mobile networks. The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter who can independently diagnose Hub and Node communication failures, resolve integration alarms, troubleshoot fiber and transport connectivity, and bring sites into service. You will collaborate with NOC teams, RF engineers, and deployment teams while gaining valuable experience with Nokia AirScale platforms and carrier-grade wireless infrastructure.
Contract Duration: More than 12 Months
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of hands-on telecommunications field experience in Small Cell, DAS, RAN, or wireless network deployment and integration.
- Strong experience with Nokia integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Small Cell Hubs and Nodes, including communication failures, hardware issues, connectivity problems, and integration alarms.
- Working knowledge of Nokia AirScale equipment and related Small Cell platforms.
- Experience with Nokia Flexi Zone, AirScale Indoor Radio, or similar micro/pico radio technologies.
- Understanding of LTE/5G NR architecture, basic RF principles, and wireless network integration.
- Experience troubleshooting fiber-optic, Ethernet, power, transport, and synchronization issues.
- Knowledge of GPS/timing synchronization, VSWR, optical link faults, and RF performance parameters.
- Ability to use Nokia commissioning tools, element management systems, CLI, and web-based configuration interfaces.
- Experience with site acceptance testing, alarm verification, cell status checks, and connectivity validation.
- Ability to read site drawings, schematics, installation documents, and method of procedure (MOP) documents.
- Willingness to travel to field deployment sites across the United States.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet customer site-access and safety requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous Small Cell deployment, integration, or troubleshooting experience.
- Direct experience with Nokia AirScale Indoor Radio, Flexi Zone, and related Small Cell equipment.
- Familiarity with Nokia Site Manager, AirScale Element Manager, and other Nokia commissioning or management tools.
- Experience with fiber testing tools, including OTDRs and optical power meters, as well as spectrum and cable/antenna analyzers.
- Knowledge of RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput testing, and LTE/5G performance validation.
- Experience with CBRS, private LTE/5G, DAS, and neutral-host deployments.
- Previous experience supporting major wireless carriers, tower companies, or telecom deployment contractors.

- 20% Testing and Technical Documentation: Perform alarm verification, connectivity checks, RF validation, acceptance testing, and site closeout documentation.
- 30% Team Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Coordinate with NOC teams, RF engineers, project managers, and deployment leads to resolve integration issues, communicate site status, and meet deployment milestones.
