Which companies sponsor visas for account representatives in Kentucky?
Louisville-based employers including Humana, UPS, and LG&E have histories of sponsoring foreign workers in client-facing and account management roles. In Lexington, healthcare systems and technology distributors have also filed sponsorship petitions. Sponsorship decisions vary by role, hiring manager, and business need, so it's worth researching individual employers' H-1B visa filing histories through public Labor Condition Application disclosure data.
Which visa types are most common for account representative roles in Kentucky?
The H-1B is the most common visa for account representatives in Kentucky, but it requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning the position must typically require a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or communications. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business categories. O-1 visas are less common for this role type.
Which cities in Kentucky have the most account representative sponsorship jobs?
Louisville accounts for the majority of account representative sponsorship activity in Kentucky, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, logistics firms, and healthcare companies. Lexington is the secondary market, with notable activity in healthcare services and technology distribution. Bowling Green and Covington, which sits across from Cincinnati, also see periodic openings tied to manufacturing and regional sales operations.
How to find account representative visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search account representative openings in Kentucky without sorting through roles that won't support international candidates. The platform covers employers across Louisville, Lexington, and smaller markets in the state. Filtering by role type and location on Migrate Mate is the most direct way to identify which Kentucky employers are actively hiring and willing to sponsor.
Are there state-specific considerations for account representative sponsorship in Kentucky?
Kentucky's economy is anchored in healthcare, logistics, advanced manufacturing, and the bourbon industry. Account representative roles tied to healthcare clients, medical devices, or supply chain services tend to have the clearest degree requirements, which strengthens H-1B specialty occupation eligibility. The University of Kentucky and University of Louisville also produce OPT-eligible graduates who sometimes transition into sponsored roles with local employers after demonstrating value on their initial work authorization.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account representative jobs in Kentucky?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
