Position Overview:
The Production Supervisor leads day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality and regulatory standards. This role provides frontline leadership to production teams, oversees workflow execution, and supports continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with manufacturing processes and EHS requirements.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead and oversee daily production activities for an assigned line, section, or shift, ensuring adherence to manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and EHS guidelines
- Assign daily work and staffing, set production priorities, and manage labor to meet scheduled output targets
- Monitor in-process production, interpret specifications, and make real-time decisions regarding product acceptability
- Contribute to weekly production planning by aligning team activities with short- and mid-term production forecasts (ranging from one week up to one month)
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow continuity
- Drive continuous improvement by recommending and implementing process enhancements, procedural updates, and technical improvements
- Supervise, coach, and develop Production Technicians, Coordinators, and Operators—typically leading teams of 20–35 employees in a manufacturing environment or smaller functional teams of 3–10 in technical or service settings
- Collaborate primarily with internal teams and stakeholders to support operational goals, with limited external interaction as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- At least 2 years of leadership experience or demonstrated success in an operational role with accountability for people, processes, or outcomes
- A strong combination of practical, hands-on expertise and theoretical knowledge, supported by advanced vocational experience, enabling you to manage diverse and moderately complex manufacturing operations
- A proven ability to effectively direct, coach, and supervise a skilled workforce—including operators, technicians, and specialists—within a team-based production environment

The base salary range for this position in Marion, KY is $91,086 – $107,100. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications. The annual incentive target is 5% of the base salary.
