The Opportunity
As a Conflicts Analyst, you will utilize Intapp Open conflicts software and online research tools to generate accurate reports on the firm’s prior involvement with parties involved in potential new business. You should have familiarity with legal terminology used for common business structures. You must be highly attentive to detail and have the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and must possess effective communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of staff and attorneys utilizing tact and diplomacy.
The Day-To-Day
On Any Given Day, You Will Be Working With Firm Leadership, Partners, And Business Colleagues On a Variety Of Requests And Projects. You Will
- Generate new business conflicts of interest reports according to department procedures, utilizing Intapp Open conflicts software and available online research tools.
- Have a working knowledge of all department standard operating procedures and understand conflicts request workflow.
- Understand basic conflicts of interest principles as taught by the National Conflicts Manager and Conflicts Attorneys.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in managing your assignments in relation to firm and department priorities.
- Have the ability to interpret and analyze information. Demonstrate ability to compile, review, filter, synthesize, and determine logical conclusions or recommendations based on data and information which is varied in content and format.
- Be a self-starter; able to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment; and exercise independent judgment in performing all aspects of your assignments.
- Perform preliminary analysis of conflicts search results, for review by a Conflicts Attorney.
- Other responsibilities as required.
You Have
- A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
- At least three years’ experience in conflicts in a law firm setting, required.
- Proficiency with relational conflicts databases, such as Intapp Open or LegalKey.
- Proficiency in the use of online corporate research databases, such as Dun & Bradstreet and Capital IQ.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel and the ability to learn new software is required. Experience working with PDF software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation
- Boston: The full time salary range for this role is $70,000 to $78,000 annually which is based on a 35 hour work week.
- Chicago: The full time salary range for this role is $70,000 to $76,000 annually, which is based on a 35 hour work week.
- Los Angeles: The full time salary range for this role is $75,000 to $80,000 annually, which is based on a 35 hour work week.
- San Francisco: The full time salary range for this role is $78,000 to $83,000 annually, which is based on a 35 hour work week.
- Seattle: The full time salary range for this role is $74,000 to $80,000 annually, which is based on a 35 hour work week.
- Washington, DC: The full time salary range for this role is $74,000 to $80,000 annually, which is based on a 35 hour work week.
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role in the locations listed above at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location and business or organizational needs.
