- Partner with attorneys and leadership on pricing strategy and matter economics.
3. Support the CFO with Financial Analysis, Pricing, and Decision Support
- Support the ongoing enhancement of matter profitability reporting, budgeting assumptions, and analysis.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and process improvement areas.
- Partner with attorneys and leadership on financial and operational analysis related to profitability, realization, leverage, and performance metrics.
- Assist in evaluating the operational impact of evolving legal service delivery models, technology adoption, and AI-driven efficiencies.
- Build and provide ad hoc analyses as needed.
4. Own and Enhance Budgeting and Forecasting Processes
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of more structured and forward-looking budgeting and forecasting processes across the firm.
- Improve financial planning models and operational forecasting capabilities to support continued growth and scalability.
- Support long-term planning initiatives tied to firm growth, acquisitions, operational expansion, and evolving legal service delivery models.
5. Oversee Financial Operations Support Areas
- Identify operational inefficiencies within Finance and implement process improvements.
- Support broader departmental initiatives tied to scalability, organization, and financial controls.
- Help establish best practices and documentation for evolving finance workflows.
6. Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage and mentor a team consisting of Lead Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst.
- Delegate and prioritize analytical, reporting, and operational initiatives across the team.
- Work closely with the CFO, Director of Accounting and Finance, attorneys, and operational leaders on strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a bridge between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable solutions.
As part of our commitment to collaboration and excellence, this role may require flexibility during periods of high workload, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting deadlines, or other departmental priorities.
