What We Do
Works collaboratively with business departments to drive process improvement by identifying opportunities, defining business processes, and documenting procedures. Assesses and documents training needs and communicates the implementation of new or updated processes. Develops and maintains documentation including business process flows, training materials, standard operating procedures, and project status updates. Oversees projects for business departments and serves as a liaison and strategic partner between government entities, vendors, corporations, and other FA divisions to define business processes and support the development, enhancement, and delivery of products and services. When new processes are identified, may lead implementation efforts or transition execution to the Project Management team. Partners with other Business Analysts to gather information and complete assigned initiatives.
What You'll Do:
- Gathers information and data on business process and procedures
- Receives/identifies problem or process, researches alternatives, contributes to presentations, tests to confirm, and participates in implementing solutions for defined business processes
- Works with business partners to create documentation of business processes, training procedures, and standard operating procedures
- Generates standard reports, reviews and audits information
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1–2 years of directly related experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
