TK Elevator is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Byhalia, MS.

This role is responsible for landscaping, carpentry and painting, plumbing and electrical work, acting as a company liaison with contractors/subcontractors performing work in and around the facility and provide routine maintenance/light repair of HVAC systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform proactive, reactive, and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Perform carpentry work such as repairs to walls, doors, trim, and windows. Painting, fabricating and maintaining metal, ladders and catwalks as required.
• Prepare facility layouts as needed.
• Complete facility work orders as assigned.
• Act as liaison with contractors/subcontractors performing work in and around the facility.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years experience in maintenance position in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• General mechanical experience maintaining equipment required.
• Possess an intermediate knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Solid written and oral communication skills essential for the role.
• Proven ability to take initiative and anticipate needs, work independently with minimal guidance.
• Demonstrated effective decision-making skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others required.
• Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical/vocational school degree or certification preferred.
